The day of the Earth Hour has started tragically. I haven't been so mad, angry for long long time.
_{I was born in a small mountain town in Transylvania. Urbanization has told it's word here too in the Communist era, but it still have remained one of the calmest and most silent towns in this country, still has green mountains all around and trees in the town, grass and flowers. At least this is what i have believed since i started my life in one of the biggest cities in my country 4 years ago. The polluated air, noisy streets, uncaring neighbours, all over concrete view have almost killed a part of me, but have made me long even more for nature and green surroundings and more autentically human lifestyle, what is so far from city people's everydays.
But i realize from time to time most of "us" don't have this need at all. Greyness around, tall buildings with match box looking appartments, smoke and dust instead of pure breeze are more than desired for some "humans".
We used to have many trees around the building where my family lives. It's a building with 20 families living in, grey as almost any other remaining from communist glory, but i love the plum trees all around. In springtime, when they are in full white bloom they give a touch of innocent beauty between concrete buildings.}

Yesterday a parasite living under us, called Mr. Owl decided to order another man to cut some trees around building because they annoyed him. Reason being that a bat enetered his house! WTF!? What's the relation between a plum tree and a bat in house? Second reason being that the tree keeps shadow. What he decided that he did. Without asking anyone's opinion in the building!!! My freshly operated mom was imploring him not to cut the trees, but he didn't even pay attention pretending he didn't hear. So not only the tree cutting but not caring about a recovering weak lady made me extremely angry. As he gave the order for cutting he went in his appartment not to hear our quarel. We play this tree cutting game for several years, right because kinda noone living here is brave enough to take a step, they don't have opinion and needs. And they light out all their appartment from bathroom to kitchen at Earth Hour. Mom called an nature protection worker and asked if this can be done without any papers or asking any opinion. We told them we will call environmental police and i made several photos about them cutting the trees and then they got a bit worried and stopped. With all this madness we saved 1 tree from 4. Next time i shall try chaining myself to a tree, but they might cut me also. These people never planted a tree but cut several. Damned narrow minded, egoisitic parasites, they don't care if their grandchildren will see trees only in books and museum. I am loosing my trust in the human kind, at least one part of it. No wonder Earth shakes us down from its back.
