One more entry for this fabulous summer contest. I had almost NO time in July, but it seems like i am catching up what i missed
A beloved style of food, meat and vegetables on wooden sticks. You can do it on grill but at home too in a pan.
For 6-8 sticks: 1 chicken breast 2 yellow bell peppers 2 big yellow onions 1 tiny courgette salt, pepper any other kind of spices you like (especially herbs: thyme, marjoram, rosemary or oregano etc.) olive oil or white wine for sprinkling
Clean and chop the raw ingredients into bigger cubes and season them with the spices you choose. Put the wooden sticks in water for a minute, then oil them and start pulling the ingredients over one by one. Over live coals fry the sticks, spinning them from time to time and sprinkling them with wine or olive oil to don't dry out. It doesn't need much time to be ready, depends on the hotness of the coal.
If you do at home place them in a pan over some olive oil and fry until ready, adding a little wine in the beginning.
