So this is a quite popular salad in Transylvania, served usually with meat stews or grilled meat.
For 2 portions: 3-4 fresh, short type cucumbers 1 spring onion salt, pepper, red pepper powder 1 thyme spring (fresh or dried) 1dl water 1-2 teaspoons of sugar 1-3 tbs of white vinegar (depends on your taste) Peel and slice the cucumbers, chop the onion too. Mix them and season them with the salt, pepper and red pepper power. Mix the water, sugar and vinegar and pour this over the cucumbers. Finally add the thyme spring and let it cool 30 minutes in fridge, so the cucumber takes in the flavour. __________ DO NOT USE MY PHOTOS IN ANY WAY WITHOUT MY WRITTEN PERMISSION, PLEASE! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
