RETRO APPLE CAKE

Well i call this retro apple cake, because my mom made it when i was little girl...and '80s are already retro now:P

So for one little caky you need:
4 eggs
3 (big) spoons of cold water
7 (big) spoons of wheat
7 + 4 b.spoons of crystal sugar
4-5 apples
nutmeg
some stronger jam (i advice not to use jelly)
butter
salt

Wash and peel the apples, cut them into halves and clean them from the middle part, so you get little holes in them all. Fill these holes with jam.
Grease a long baking tin with some butter and pour 4 spoons of crystal sugar in it and put over fire, moving it all around to get a caramell coat in it.
When the caramel is ready place the apple halves in the tin, with the jam part above. Put nutmeg in the holes that remain between the apples.
Put the tin with the apples in the warming oven and leave it there 5-8 minutes until the apples get soft a bit.
During this time you can make the cake base.

So for the cake you wash and break the eggs, separating the yellows and white. Put the whites in a big bowl and pour a lil salt over them and beat them up with mixer till it becomes strong like whipped cream. Then put 3 spoons of water over the egg yellows, 7 spoons of sugar and stir this with the mixer till it becomes whity and foamy.
When it's ready put the creamy white thing in it and pour 7 big spoons of wheat over it. Stir it gently with big roundy moves, to don't break the foam.

Take out the baking tin with the apples from the oven and pour this creamy foamy thing over it.
Then put back to the hot oven. Baking 10 minutes on big fire, then on middle fire for approximately 5 minutes.
I suggest to check it before you turn off the fire: Take a picker and push into the cake in the middle part. If you see no cake pieces on the wooden picker then the cake is ready, if some little crumbs are on it or the picker got wet a bit that means you have to put back the cake for a few more minutes, otherwise it wont be baked enough and it will fall back after you take out.

When it's ready take out of the tin, with the apple side above and when it gets colder you can serve it with whipped cream or even without.
